Here are a few of the more common questions we
receive. If you can't find an answer to your question,

Q. Do I need an account to place an order with
you?
A. No. You can place an order at anytime without
an account
Q. I notice you take payment with NoChex and PayPal.
Do I need an account with them to pay for my order?
A. No. You do not need an account and you
do not have to sign up for an account to
pay us with your credit card or debit card.
Q. Who should I use, PayPal or NoChex?
A. You can use either service to pay for your
order. Nochex use the additional security of 'Verfied
by VISA' if you don't already have this set up,
you may find PayPal is easier.
Q. Are my credit card details secure with them?
A. Yes. They use 128 bit encryption on their systems
and other security features to ensure your card
details are safe - that's why we use them to process
all our payments.
Q. I don't trust the internet with my card details
can I pay you another way?
A. Yes. You can use our website to put your order
together, and then you can post it to us with
your payment. We accept cheques, postal orders
and bank transfers as well.
Q. I am looking for component X can you supply
it?
A. Probably. Send us an email with details of
what you're looking for and we'll se what we can
do.
Q. Where are all the pictures?
A. Photographing over 1500 components takes a
long time, and picking and despatching your orders
takes priority. We are slowly taking pictures
of all our products. Look out for the camera symbol
next to a product, clicking it will give you a
photo. Meanwhile if you require a picture of a
specific item, please email us and we'll send
one.
Q. Do you have data sheets for your products?
A. Yes we have data sheets for all our products.

Q. Can you offer lower prices for higher quantities?
A. Yes, depending on the quantity you are looking
for we may be able to offer you a discount. Please
email us before placing your order.
Q. The mini shopping basket in the top right hand
corner is always empty, what's wrong?
A. The mini basket uses cookies to keep track
of your purchases. You should enable cookies for
this site.
Q. The screen qoes blank when I add an item to
my basket, what's wrong?
A. Some overzealous firewall software stops a
piece of information called HTTP_REFERER from
being sent over the internet. Without it, we can't
tell which page you were looking at, so we can't
send your browser back there and you'll see a
blank page. You need to find out how to turn off
the HTTP_REFERER blocking on your firewall - it
will cause you lots of problems on other websites
too!
